With an ear for harmonies and an eye for detail, Roth is a producer with great range.

In addition to producing his own EP and co-producing multiple Satsang albums, Roth has put his touch on an impressive stack of songs. From complex vocal arrangements to stripped-down storytelling, his passion for music and pursuit of perfection shine through in every project. Raised in a family of artists, Roth has been immersed in the world of music since he was seven. He plays multiple instruments professionally, has toured nationwide, and has composed many classical works—
just for fun.

“Though as I try, fail as I might, all I can do is hope to be me.”

“Flowers From the Fray” - Satsang

Mixed

Vocal Harmonies

Satsang, the brain-child of singer/songwriter Drew McManus, has made huge strides in its career. Roth has toured with the band since nearly its creation, and has lent his production, engineering, and musical talents on each of the band’s studio releases. Roth particularly helped shape the finished sound for Satsang’s latest release “Flowers From The Fray”. Expanding on his development as a mixing engineer, Flowers is a stylistic record where Karl broke from some traditional mix techniques and explored the art form with songs from one of his favorite songwriters.

“Lua Flora” - Lua Flora

Mixed/Mastered

Vocal Harmonies

“Lua Flora” is the first full length release from the Asheville, North Carolina band Lua Flora lead by songwriter Evan Button. After a longstanding work relationship with the band, and working on songs sporadically over the course of a couple years - this album was released with Karl having mixed/mastered 8 of the 11 songs, and even lending some vocal harmonies and his talents on his acoustic lap steel guitar to a couple of them.

“please pardon my crying…i’m learning to save my life!” - hair machine

Mixed/Mastered

hair machine is the solo folk work of Montana based singer/songwriter Phil Griffin. After deciding to switch gears and record some folk music with good friend Parker Brown, Phil sent the EP to Karl to mix and master. This album is an incredibly touching and creative collection of songs. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen!
