Karl Vincent Roth is a producer, musician, composer and writer based in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a carpenter, plant daddy, and proud owner of a rambunctious husky named Beatrice. Karl grew up in Chicago after spending time in Hong Kong and Germany as a young child. He has been surrounded by art his whole life: his mother is a constantly evolving painter, his older sister an advertising professional and ultra marathoner, and his younger sister is a bestselling author. Watching his mom experiment with color and technique has always inspired him to try new things—mixing instruments and genres like one would paint.
While Karl has been around music his whole life, his career as a producer is, in some ways, just getting started. Karl spent nearly a decade working as a DJ in Chicago before relocating to Montana to join his friend Andrew’s band Satsang. While he continues to play bass and sing back-up vocals for the band, Karl has also built a successful production business and, more recently, began sharing his solo work. He released his first EP in 2019 and is now gearing up to release his first full-length album. His range, vocal arrangements, and poetic lyrics are a potent combination.
